The Journey of Alliah Cool (Isimbi Alliance)
Alliah Cool, whose real name is Isimbi Alliance, is one of Rwanda’s boldest rising women. Her story starts not in glamor or comfort, but in a humble home where she was the eldest of seven siblings. From a young age, she helped her family survive by selling secondhand shoes earning her way through sheer grit and determination.
In 2012, Alliah got her start in the Rwandan film industry. It wasn’t a leading role, but it was the opportunity she needed. As more doors opened, her confidence and presence grew. She quickly became known not just as an actress, but as someone with purpose.
Alliah once shared that she didn’t choose her public life just to impress others she chose it because she wanted to inspire. She believes in rising with courage and helping others rise too. That belief has guided every step of her journey.
By 2022, Alliah Cool had been named a UN Eminent Peace Ambassador, a powerful recognition of her voice and advocacy. She also received honors like the Great Achievers Award in Nigeria, showing that her message resonates across Africa.
But she wasn’t done. She created Alliah Magazine, a space for young women to share their stories, feel seen, and grow into their own power. Her journey is deeply rooted in her faith and values, and she’s never shied away from the challenges that come with leading.
Alliah’s life is proof that you can rise from anything. Whether selling shoes or standing on global stages, she’s stayed true to her mission: to give others the courage to believe that they, too, can overcome and shine.
